Holiday Cheer & Creative Fun

Designed for beginning to intermediate levels, this workshop will focus on understanding the basics of and working with oils. Two half day sessions will give thorough instruction, demonstration and practice covering:

  • Understanding the oil medium
  • Working with different materials - thinners, dryers, types of brushes, solvents
  • Creating the color wheel and designing your palette
  • Working with tones, values and the color wheel
  • Creating your composition and designing the canvas
